Setting up U-Filter for Milestone remote service

Prerequisites:​

Ultinous needs the following information so that a license can be issued for you:

  • Your public IP address.

  • Your desired number of cameras.

  • The Software Licence Code (SLC) of the Milestone XProtect instance where the plugin is going to run.

    To access it, open the Milestone XProtect Management Client. In the left sidebar, expand Basics then click License Information.

  • The number of channels you would like to use for each SLC.

Send the above information to Ultinous to receive a license.

Installation​

  1. Set up Milestone XProtect and U-Filter by following the user guide.

  2. In Step III.b. of the guide, set https://detector.ufilter.ai as the hostname of your U-Filter Configuration.

  3. Refresh the License Information page of Milestone XProtect by clicking the refresh icon at the bottom of the page and refresh your license online.
